Sidley Austin LLP has advised Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale (Nord/LB) on the successful completion of a trade receivables financing for Hansa Group AG. The transaction, done together with Raiffeisen Bank International, will provide Hansa Group AG cash proceeds of up to EUR 45m through the on-going purchase of receivables.

On December 21, Willkie client Aviva plc announced that it has agreed to sell Aviva USA Corporation, its U.S. life and annuities business and related asset management operations (Aviva USA), to Athene Holding Ltd for $1.8 billion.
