FaegreBD Represents Spectranetics in Acquisition of AngioScore Inc.

Faegre Baker Daniels represented The Spectranetics Corporation, a Colorado Springs-based medical device company, in acquiring AngioScore Inc. in a $230 million cash purchase, along with contingent commercial and regulatory milestone payments. The transaction closed June 30, and was funded with the proceeds from a $230 million public offering of convertible notes.

Jackson Lewis LLP, one of the largest workplace law firms in the world representing management, is pleased to announce the formation of its White Collar & Government Enforcement Practice Group.  This new practice group will counsel corporations, institutions, business executives and other professionals facing federal or state investigations and enforcement actions.  In addition, the firm also announced that former Assistant U.S. Attorney James M. Lord has joined its Denver office as Partner.  Mr. Lord brings to Jackson Lewis many years of experience as a federal prosecutor and will be an integral part of the new practice group.

Craig Richardson Returns to Greenberg Traurig Denver Office after 10 Years

Craig Richardson has returned to the international law firm Greenberg Traurig as a shareholder in the Litigation practice group. He had been general counsel of El Paso Corporation’s Pipeline Group, the largest network of natural gas pipelines in North America, for the past 10 years. Richardson will be based in the firm’s Denver office.

With a deep background in both patent law and engineering, Hemenway and his team will counsel clients on many aspects of intellectual property from identification, protection and management of intellectual property assets to preparing and prosecuting patent applications, enforcing intellectual property rights through litigation and providing infringement and patentability opinions. Hemenway was previously a partner at Dorsey & Whitney where he led the Denver patent group.
