Menon will lead the firm’s London and EMEA tax practice, advising domestic and international clients in transactional matters across a wide range of industries. Menon joins Vinson & Elkins from White & Case where he lead the U.K. tax practice and co-led the EMEA tax practice.
Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has added John Houghton to the firm’s London office, where he will serve as Chair of the London Restructuring & Bankruptcy Practice. Houghton is former Global Co-Chair of the Restructuring & Special Situations Practice, and former European Head of Restructuring & Special Situations, at Latham & Watkins, where he practiced for nearly 20 years.
International law firm Bird & Bird today grows its Corporate practice with the hire of Nick O’Donnell as a partner in London. Nick joins the firm from Baker McKenzie where he has been a corporate finance partner in London since 2012. He previously spent more than a decade with Allen & Overy.
