Jacques joins from Shearman & Sterling, prior to which he was a partner at Latham & Watkins working in both London and New York. Jacques represents issuers, sponsors and underwriters on complex corporate financings with a focus on high yield bonds, practicing in European leveraged finance and debt capital markets. He advises clients with respect to restructurings, debt tender/consent solicitations, and private placements in multiple jurisdictions across the EMEA region, with a particular focus on the UK, Spain and Italy. Jacques is New York qualified and has practised in London for over 20 years. His clients include investment banks and high-profile UK and European corporates.
