BakerHostetler confirmed today that it has opened a full-service office in Dallas, expanding the firm’s presence in Texas. With 16 highly accomplished and prominent lawyers, the new Dallas office includes experienced practitioners across a wide range of practices, including M&A and business transactions, complex litigation, white collar and tax. It is the firm’s 16th office and its second in Texas, following the firm’s well-established office in Houston.
Following Shearman & Sterling’s recent expansion in Texas with a new Dallas office, the firm is welcoming two more partners, Ann Marie Cowdrey and Nathan Meredith, to the team. They join the firm from Thompson & Knight.
Partner Robert Flowers recently joined Stinson LLP’s Dallas office, expanding the firm’s Banking and Financial Services practice to Texas. Flowers comes to the firm after previously practicing in the Dallas office of Fenimore, Kay, Harrison & Ford, LLP.
Jeffrey Harvey, who most recently served as executive vice president and general counsel of PrimeSource Building Products, Inc., has joined Holland & Knight’s Dallas office as a partner. PrimeSource is a Dallas area-based global sourcing and distribution company.

Foley & Lardner announced today that the firm has expanded its national intellectual property capabilities with the addition of four attorneys to its Intellectual Property Department and Electronics Practice Group. Eric Sophir and Gary Solomon join as partners, while Matthew Horton and Kamyar Maserat join as senior counsel and associate, respectively. All will be based in Foley’s Washington, D.C. office, except for Solomon, who is based in Dallas.
