Litigation Partner Trey Cox Joins Gibson Dunn’s Dallas Office

Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is pleased to announce that John T. “Trey” Cox III has joined the firm’s Dallas office. Cox, formerly a partner at Lynn Pinker Cox & Hurst LLP, will continue to focus on complex commercial litigation at the trial and appellate levels.

Cox has more than 20 years of experience defending Texas-based and national corporations in large, complex, and high-profile business disputes. His experience in the courtroom has earned him the distinction of being double Board Certified in Civil Trial and Civil Pre-Trial by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

He received his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Virginia School of Law, and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Washington and Lee University. Cox clerked for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
