BakerHostetler confirmed today that it has opened a full-service office in Dallas, expanding the firm’s presence in Texas. With 16 highly accomplished and prominent lawyers, the new Dallas office includes experienced practitioners across a wide range of practices, including M&A and business transactions, complex litigation, white collar and tax. It is the firm’s 16th office and its second in Texas, following the firm’s well-established office in Houston.

Akin Gump Grows Dallas Corporate Team with Addition of Transactional-Focused Partner Duo

Akin Gump today announced the expansion of its corporate team in Dallas with the addition of partners Ryan Cox and Eric Williams. Foley Deepens National IP Electronics Bench With Addition of High-Profile Team in Washington, D.C. and Dallas

Foley & Lardner announced today that the firm has expanded its national intellectual property capabilities with the addition of four attorneys to its Intellectual Property Department and Electronics Practice Group. Eric Sophir and Gary Solomon join as partners, while Matthew Horton and Kamyar Maserat join as senior counsel and associate, respectively. All will be based in Foley’s Washington, D.C. office, except for Solomon, who is based in Dallas.

The highly-skilled team comes over from Dentons, where Sophir and Solomon were partners. Sophir also served as co-practice leader of the firm’s IP group.
