Key to succeeding in this role is the ability to cultivate strong business relationships and establish a reputable presence while closely collaborating with business clients.Responsibilities for this role include:

• Providing accurate and timely legal advice to business leaders on various legal matters.
• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, such as construction agreements, interconnection and terminal agreements, and marketing and sales contracts.
• Collaborating with the internal team to address inquiries from regulatory agencies.
• Offering legal advice on product distribution and marketing issues.
• Undertaking additional responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Demonstrated interest in or experience working with and advising businesses in the energy sector, including refining and energy production, pipelines and transportation, lubricants, and propane.
• Business acumen.
• A growth mindset.
