FisherBroyles Welcomes Three new IP Partners

FisherBroyles, LLP is pleased to welcome Lawrence R. Robins, Ariel Reinitz, and Dr. Gabor Brasnjo as partners in the firm.

Robins represents clients on a variety of intellectual property matters, with a particular focus on: the resolution of trademark, copyright, unfair competition, advertising, publicity rights, and related disputes; strategic trademark portfolio development, management, and protection; and counseling on advertising claims and the use and protection of copyrighted works. His areas of industry and technical experience include information technology, merchandise licensing, search engines, e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, consumer goods, financial services, restaurants and clubs, furniture and design, food and beverage, and sports and sporting goods. Robins will work out of the firm’s Boston office.

Reinitz is a registered patent attorney who advises technology companies on Intellectual Property issues including strategic Patent and Trademark portfolio development, risk assessment, due diligence, and licensing. As a former software developer, Ariel’s technical expertise enables him to work seamlessly with clients across a broad range of technologies including cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine vision, robotics, cybersecurity, virtualization, Big Data, automotive technologies, Internet of Things (‘IoT’), FinTech + Blockchain, UAVs (‘drones’), CleanTech, and medical devices. He is joining the Firm’s New York office.

Dr. Brasnjo is also a registered patent attorney and will be joining the firm’s Palo Alto office. His practice focuses on patent prosecution, counseling, and due diligence in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Dr. Brasnjo has assisted clients working in a broad range of technologies related to life sciences, including biologics such as antibodies and vaccines, therapeutic compositions and regimens, cell culture and imaging, sequencing, genome editing, and personalized medicine.
