Global law firm Goodwin announced today that David Irvine will join the firm’s Tax practice as a partner in the London office. Irvine has over 20 years of experience representing multi-asset managers, private equity, infrastructure, real estate, debt and hedge fund sponsors and management teams on the domestic and international aspects of fund structuring, tax efficient incentivization arrangements and tax issues associated with their investment programs. Irvine comes to Goodwin from the London office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP.

Faegre Drinker announced today that Susan Moore has joined the firm as a partner in the finance and restructuring practice group in the London office. Moore comes to the firm from Stephenson Harwood, where she was head of the restructuring and insolvency practice. The firm also announced the addition of associate Bethan Griffith to the practice in London.

Akin Gump today announced that finance partner Clare Cottle is to join the firm’s London office. Ms. Cottle advises on the finance aspects of cross-border and domestic financial restructurings, special situations funding and complex direct loans. She represents credit funds, institutional investors, private equity funds and portfolio companies in a wide range of financings, including debt restructurings, direct loans, leveraged buyouts, securitisations and bank/bond structures. Ms. Cottle will join Akin Gump from Weil, Gotshal & Manges, where she is a partner.
