They will be based in the firm’s Chicago office, and join K&L Gates from Richards Patent Law P.C., an intellectual property firm Richards founded in 2009 after previously practicing at McDermott Will & Emery LLP.
King & Spalding has added Jonathan Newton, a corporate and securities partner, to its Corporate, Finance and Investments (CFI) Practice Group in Houston. Newton joins from Baker McKenzie, where he served as the managing partner of its Houston office from 2014 and 2019.
