White & Case Continues to Grow Its Restructuring Capabilities with New Partner Andrew O’Neill in Chicago

Global law firm White & Case LLP has added Andrew O’Neill to the Firm’s Financial Restructuring and Insolvency (FRI) Practice in Chicago. This move marks the fourth new FRI partner to join White & Case in the US this month, further expanding the Firm’s company-side capabilities and depth in financial restructuring. O’Neill joins the Firm along with counsel Matt Linder from Sidley Austin, following the additions of Boelter, Guzina and Andolina on October 1.

Kilpatrick Townsend Lands National Life Sciences Patent Litigation Team in New York, San Francisco, and Seattle

Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that it is bringing aboard a national life sciences patent litigation team to further enhance their internationally recognized Intellectual Property Department. April Abele Isaacson, M.S. is joining as a partner in San Francisco, Abby Markeson as counsel in Seattle, and in New York, Brian David O’Reilly and Michael Enzo Furrow, Ph.D. are joining as partners and Erica W. April, Brian, Erica, and Michael most recently worked together at DLA Piper. Reed Smith Adds Two More to Expanding Energy Industry Group

Reed Smith announced today that Megan S. Haines, previously the co-chair of McGuireWoods’ energy disputes team, has joined Reed Smith’s Energy and Natural Resources Industry Group as a partner in the firm’s Pittsburgh office.
 In moving to Reed Smith, Haines rejoins her colleague Ryan T. Purpura, a renowned dealmaker in the oil and gas space, who also joined the firm as a partner in Pittsburgh in September, having previously chaired McGuireWoods’ global energy group. In addition to Haines and Purpura, their colleague, Ryan Haddad, today also joins the firm as an associate in the Energy and Natural Resources Industry Group focused on transactions.
