Real estate finance lawyer Robert Grados joins Jones Day as partner in New York

The global law firm Jones Day has announced that Robert Grados has joined its New York Office as a partner in the Firm’s Real Estate Practice. Mr. Grados arrives from the New York office of Allen & Overy where he was a partner in that firm’s real estate group.

Mr. Grados’ practice focuses on real estate structured finance, including loan origination, complex credit facilities, and mezzanine financings. His experience includes working with a variety of national and regional financial institutions, real estate investment funds, insurance companies and institutional investors in structured finance transactions, including syndicated, securitized, and single lender mezzanine and mortgage loans. Mr. Grados also has had numerous matters involving construction and permanent loans; corporate, warehouse, and subscription credit facilities; “repo” transactions; and other complex structured financings.

Mr. Grados earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh, and his B.A. from the University of Michigan.
