Prominent M&A Lawyer Joins Covington

David Schwartzbaum has joined Covington as a partner in the Mergers and Acquisitions practice resident in New York.

Mr. Schwartzbaum represents buyers, sellers, and financial advisors in public and private M&A transactions.

“David has a strong reputation for representing investment banks and financial advisors in M&A transactions, and he will play an integral role in the expansion of our financial advisory practice and of the range of investment banks we advise,” said Scott Smith, chair of Covington’s Corporate practice. “With almost thirty years of experience, David also adds to our growing bench of lawyers in public company M&A.”

Mr. Schwartzbaum received a B.A. and an M.A. from Yale University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
