Akerman Welcomes Litigator Richard Brosnick to New York Office

Akerman LLP, a leading law firm serving clients across the Americas, today announced that Richard Brosnick has joined as a partner in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group in New York.

Richard focuses his practice in the areas of financial services and securities litigation, antitrust litigation and counseling, and commercial contract litigation and arbitration. He has successfully represented a broad range of U.S. and international clients in a wide variety of commercial litigation and industries, including financial services, consumer products, building materials and industrials, telecommunications, medical equipment, and pharmaceuticals.

Brosnick joins Akerman from Butzel Long, PC. He follows a wave of laterals joining the firm’s New York office since Akerman moved to a larger location on Fifth Avenue six months ago. The firm recently welcomed real estate partner Steven Bloom from Bryan Cave LLP; a team of labor and employment lawyers from Jackson Lewis, including Matthew Steinberg and Samantha Abeysekera; as well as commercial litigators David BayneJim Maloney, and Steven Cordero from Kavanagh Maloney & Osnato LLP.
