Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP today announced that Andy Tromans has joined the firm’s Corporate and Financial Services Department in London. With significant experience in the insurance market, Andy joins Willkie’s premier corporate insurance transactional team, which is internationally recognised as the market leader.
Andy joins from Clyde & Co and brings over 15 years’ experience advising on corporate and
regulatory matters involving insurance companies and related financial institutions. He joins
Willkie’s firm-wide insurance team, which represents clients in a wide range of corporate,
regulatory and tax aspects of transactions, at a time of enhanced activity and change in the
insurance market. His practice includes advising on M&A transactions, capital raisings, the establishment of
new insurance vehicles, and matters involving the PRA/FCA and EU regulatory regimes.
Andy is recognised in both the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners guides as a notable
practitioner. He is also a contributor on UK regulatory matters in the leading reinsurance text
book The Law of Reinsurance by O’Neil and Woloniecki.
