He needs top performers, with elite credentials (top firm/academics). You would be working with a partner who is both regarded as an elite funds lawyer, and is an incredibly nice person. This would be a diversified practice with both large sponsors and mid-market clients, including a significant Texas client base. They are not doing “mega-fund” raises which tend to crush people, and they have a very realistic pace. There is no set in-office policy at this date, but most associates are in the office 3 days or so a week.
