| McDermott Opens IP Practice in Rome |

McDermott Will & Emery has announced that it will launch an intellectual property practice in its Italian office in Rome. Heading the firm will be Francesco Mattina, who most recently worked at Roman boutique Gemma Mannino Mattina. Barely two years old, McDermott's Roman office has grown to house 25 attorneys, including nine partners, and handles Italian corporate, tax and antitrust work.
