The firm Kennedy Covington Lobdell & Hickman has just announced that it is the midst of discussing a possible merger with K&L Gates. If it manifests, the conjoined firm will have 17,000 lawyers across 28 offices in the US, Europe, and Asia. The idea behind the proposed merger, is to strengthen the two firm's global presence.
