Schnader Harrison Announces Raises

Philadelphia firm Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis announced a $10,000 salary increase for associates n all seven of its offices. This brings its Philly first-year rate to $125,000, matching moves by several of the city's other big firms. Baker Botts Matches Other Texas Raises

Firms Pepper Hamilton and Blank Rome announced plans to raise attorney salaries this week, becoming the latest to join the trend. For Pepper Hamilton, first year associates in all offices will get an extra $10,000, except in Harrisburg and Detriot, where the raise is $7,000. Duane Morris Reports Profit Increase, Plans for New Hires

Duane Morris announced a 9.8% increase in total revenue and an 18.4% increase in profits per partner for 2005. The 600 lawyer firm has enjoyed continued growth and success and plans to hire 400 new attorneys over the next two years. New Managing Partner for DLA Piper in D.C.

After a recent merger DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary has announced that Ann Ford will take the reins as managing partner of the Washington, D.C. office. Ford, who replaces Theodore Segal as managing partner, is the first woman to hold the post. She says her top priority is growth in the D.C. office.
