Cary Aronovitz is joining Holland & Knight’s Miami office as a partner after serving for six years as an Assistant United States Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida. He will focus his practice on government investigations, corporate compliance, complex commercial litigation, corporate and consumer fraud investigations, and class action defense.
Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney has added noted litigator, Miranda Lundeen Soto as a shareholder in its Miami office. Soto is the latest addition to the growing, diverse, women-led office, which serves Florida and national clients in the finance, healthcare, real estate and hospitality industries. She brings with her key expertise in products liability law and strong ties to the Florida legal and business communities. Soto joins the firm from Shutts & Bowen LLP.
Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is growing its employment law, litigation, and advice and counseling practices in South Florida by welcoming Patrick Martin as shareholder. Patrick will be based out of Ogletree Deakins’ Miami office, which offers a full range of labor and employment law services, including traditional labor relations, arbitration, and cross-border and international employment law matters. Patrick joins Ogletree Deakins from Greenberg Traurig where he was a shareholder, and previously practiced labor and employment law for 17 years at two Am Law 100 law firms. He also served as Assistant Attorney General for the State of Florida based in Tallahassee.

Intellectual Property Attorney Daniel Barsky has joined Holland & Knight’s Miami office as a partner. He was previously a partner with Shutts & Bowen LLP.
International law firm McDermott Will & Emery continues to grow its Corporate and Transactional practice with the addition of Miami-based partner Craig Rasile. Craig comes to the McDermott from DLA Piper.
