Meyer will join its New York office as a partner in the Lawyers for the Profession® practice group, effective January 1, 2015. Ms. Meyer will focus her practice on professional responsibility, legal ethics, risk management, human resources and insurance matters.

Prior to joining Hinshaw, Ms. Meyer was a partner and General Counsel at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP, and subsequently served as a member of its Wind-Down Committee, overseeing the bankruptcy filing in 2012 and the wind-down of the firm. Ogletree Deakins Opens Milwaukee Office

Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, begins the year by opening an office in Milwaukee with a group of nine experienced and highly regarded attorneys. Tim Costello will serve as the managing shareholder of the Milwaukee office and is joined by four other shareholders, one of counsel, one special counsel, and two associates. In addition to Costello, the shareholders joining Ogletree Deakins’ Milwaukee office are Robert Bartel, Timothy Kamin, Kevin Kinney, and Brian Radloff. David Loeffler joins as special counsel, Keith Kopplin joins as of counsel, and Mark Johnson and Dean Kelley join as associates. By opening in Milwaukee, Ogletree Deakins now has 47 offices and extends a growth trajectory that includes 13 new offices since 2010 and international expansion into Europe and Mexico.
