National law firm Wilson Elser has solidified its foothold in the Southeast with the opening of its 31st U.S. office in Atlanta, Georgia.

Effective March 6, 2017, six attorneys led by Jeffrey Melcher, regional managing partner, joined the Am Law 200 law firm. Eric Christofferson Joins DLA Piper’s Litigation Practice in Boston

DLA Piper today announced the addition of Eric P. Christofferson, a former assistant US attorney, to the firm’s Litigation practice as a partner in the Boston office.

For the past six years, Christofferson served in the US Attorney’s Office in Boston, primarily with the Criminal Division’s Economic Crimes Unit. He investigated and prosecuted Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) violations, insider trading, securities fraud, tax fraud and mortgage fraud and has tried nine criminal cases to verdict.
