Holland & Knight announced today that Ryan M. Leaderman has joined its Los Angeles office as a partner in the firm’s West Coast Land Use and Environmental Practice Group. Mr. Leaderman focuses on obtaining and negotiating land use entitlements for complex land use planning and mixed-use developments and securing project approvals for all types of major developments in Southern California. He also represents clients in all aspects of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), including CEQA litigation. Most recently, he was a partner at DLA Piper in Los Angeles. More >>

Former Michigan Solicitor General Joins Barnes & Thornburg In Grand Rapids

Aaron Lindstrom, the former solicitor general for the state of Michigan, has joined Barnes & Thornburg in Grand Rapids.

Lindstrom, who is of counsel in the firm’s Litigation Department, served as Michigan’s solicitor general for five years, where he represented the state and its agencies and oversaw appellate matters for the Michigan Department of Attorney General. He represented the state before the Michigan Supreme Court and the U.S. Supreme Court and before other state and federal courts.
