Foley & Lardner announced today that the firm has expanded its national intellectual property capabilities with the addition of four attorneys to its Intellectual Property Department and Electronics Practice Group. Eric Sophir and Gary Solomon join as partners, while Matthew Horton and Kamyar Maserat join as senior counsel and associate, respectively. All will be based in Foley’s Washington, D.C. office, except for Solomon, who is based in Dallas.

Mucchetti has joined as a partner in its Americas Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. He joins from the US Department of Justice (DOJ) Antitrust Division, where he served as the Chief of its Healthcare and Consumer Products Section.
Mucchetti served in the Antitrust Division for 19 years, starting at the DOJ as a trial attorney. He became Assistant Chief of the Division’s Healthcare and Consumer Products Section in 2011, ascending to Section Chief in 2012.
