Hugh McDonald, a seasoned insolvency and restructuring professional, has joined Pillsbury’s growing Insolvency & Restructuring practice. The third recent addition to the firm’s insolvency practice in New York, McDonald’s arrival follows closely on those of John Pintarelli and Patrick Fitzmaurice in August. He comes to Pillsbury from Troutman Pepper, where he practiced with the newly arrived Fitzmaurice.

Prominent cyber/data/privacy lawyer Patrick Van Eecke has joined Cooley as a partner in its Brussels office. Van Eecke arrives from DLA Piper, where he was co-chair of the firm’s global data privacy and cybersecurity practice. Joining him is a multinational team of data protection professionals from France, Spain and Latvia.

Holland & Knight announced today that Nasim Fussell has joined the firm as a partner in its International Trade Group, residing in the Washington, D.C., office. Most recently, Ms. Fussell was chief international trade counsel for the Senate Finance Committee, advising Chairman Chuck Grassley, committee members and staff on international trade and customs matters.
