Clifford Chance strengthens Greater China Litigation & Dispute Resolution team with two partner hires Leading international law firm Clifford Chance has announced the hires of Soo Khim Keoy and Jonathan Wong as partners in its global Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice, based in Hong Kong. Both Soo Khim and Jonathan bring extensive experience in commercial litigation and contentious financial regulatory matters, respectively. Soo Khim will join in late May and Jonathan joins 1 April. Keoy joins from Withers, Wong comes to the firm from Freshfields’ Hong Kong office.

Soo Khim is a specialist commercial litigation partner with over 20 years’ experience. He advises international and Greater China-based listed companies, financial institutions, financial investors and high net worth individuals on complex contentious matters, with a specific focus on large scale corporate and commercial litigation, shareholder/joint venture and M&A disputes, as well as insolvency and arbitration related litigation. 

Jonathan represents international and Greater China-based financial institutions, asset managers and other intermediaries on regulatory and internal investigations, and financial crimes and bank litigation matters, as well as international and commercial arbitration. His recent experience includes high profile sponsor investigations, price fixing, insider dealing and control failure matters.

Both Soo Khim and Jonathan are fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
