Sabrina Conyers, a nationally recognized corporate tax lawyer with more than 17 years of experience advising clients on domestic and international tax matters, has joined McGuireWoods’ Tax & Employee Benefits Department as a partner in the firm’s Charlotte office. Conyers joins McGuireWoods from the Charlotte office of Nelson Mullins, where she was a partner in the tax and benefits practice. She previously was a senior manager at a Big Four accounting firm.
International law firm Bird & Bird today grows its Dispute Resolution practice with the appointment of Julie Cheeseman as a partner in Sydney. Julie joins the firm from Ashurst where she has been special counsel since 2018.
