Law Firms on Facebook?!

Last month it was announced that Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle had made it to the social networking site “Facebook”, as the first major law firm to do so. But, other firms are now being represented on the site, not by the law firm itself, but by its associates. They are becoming members of their firm’s Facebook group. These group can be made anyone, not necessarily by the firm’s leaders. One of the most noticeable law firm groups is more like a fan club: “I’m in love with MoFo!” It is reasonable to assume that this trend will become even more popular amongst big law firms.
