Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has further expanded its award-winning Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Health Care Litigation and Products Liability Litigation practices with the addition of Carla R. Karp as a shareholder in the firm’s New Jersey office. Karp joins Greenberg Traurig from Goodwin Procter LLP, following Glenn S. Kerner and Nilda M. Isidro to the firm, who are former partners of Goodwin Procter. They joined as Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Health Care Litigation and Products Liability Litigation practice shareholders in the firm’s New York office in November 2021.

Prior to re-joining he was Counsel at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, where he advised private equity sponsors on a wide range of securitisation and structured debt financing transactions across all major asset classes, focusing in particular on commercial mortgage-backed securitisations and secured corporate securitisation financings.
