Dewey & LeBoeuf has announced that the closing of its San Francisco office. But what is to happen to all those employed there, you ask? Don’t worry. They are all to be transferred to Dewey’s East Palo Alto office. The office’s last day of existence is still unknown. As of now, the two combined offices will have 28 lawyers, consisting of nine partners.

John Briggs, now 65, joined Howrey in 1973. He has spent his entire career there, until now.
