Squire Patton Boggs has appointed private equity lawyer Sascha Konwalski as partner in its Corporate Practice in Frankfurt. Mr. Konwalski, who joins from Linklaters in Frankfurt, is the eighth private equity related senior appointment at Squire Patton Boggs in Europe since summer 2021 and his arrival marks a significant commitment to expand private equity and corporate work in Germany.
King & Spalding announced today that leading trial lawyer and litigator Mark Kirsch has joined the firm as a partner in the Trial and Global Disputes practice group in New York. Kirsch joins the firm from Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where he served previously as Global Co-Chair of Litigation and Partner-In-Charge of the New York office.

They are the fifth and sixth partners to join Akerman’s national corporate team this year after New York partner Cristina Gonzalez, Atlanta partner Bryan Reese, Winston-Salem partner Steven “Will” Walker, and Los Angeles partner Peter Hurm. Beckham comes to the firm from Greenberg Traurig while Fulks previously practiced with MIchael Best & Friedrich.

Kelesi joins from Allen & Overy where she was a senior associate in the financial services regulation practice.

Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has added Merrili Escue as a shareholder and Nancy Kawano as senior counsel in its San Diego office. Escue, who was an attorney with Littler early in her career from 1996 to 2001, brings more than 20 years of experience in employment law, while Kawano has had a 30-year career as a transactional employment lawyer. They join Littler from Ricketts Case LLP.
