White & Case Expands its Real Estate Capabilities with the Addition of Jason McCoy and Jennifer Iacono as Partners

Global law firm White & Case LLP continues to expand its Global Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Practice and Global Real Estate Group with the addition of Jennifer Iacono and Jason McCoy as partners. Iacono joins the Firm’s New York office and McCoy, a Georgia-qualified lawyer, joins the Firm’s Houston office. They both arrive from Paul Hastings.

McCoy and Iacono advise private equity firms, real estate investment trusts (REITS), developers, financial institutions and other investors on the full spectrum of real estate transactions, including financings, acquisitions and dispositions of assets, and restructurings.

“Investing further in our real estate capabilities is integral to our practice, as demand for high quality advice in this sector continues apace,” said Gene Leone, Head of White & Case’s Global Real Estate Group. “These partners bring years of experience advising on real estate transactions. Their addition, combined with the recent arrivals of David Viklund and Ted Smith, further supports the continued growth of our real estate and M&A teams.”

McCoy and Iacono are the eleventh and twelfth lateral partners to join White & Case’s Global M&A Practice in 2022, following the arrivals of David Viklund and Christopher Lacaria to the Firm’s New York office, Ted Smith to the Firm’s Houston office, and Di Yu to the Firm’s London office in August; Linda Sim to the Firm’s Los Angeles office, Shiva Sandill to the Firm’s Chicago office, and Javier Monzón to the Firm’s Madrid office in June; and Matthew Barnett to the Firm’s Los Angeles office, Burr Eckstut to the Firm’s New York office and Arnaud Cagi-Nicolau to the Firm’s Luxembourg office in March.
