Team of Five Senior Attorneys Joins Frost Brown Todd’s Columbus Office

Veteran Litigator Joins Frost Brown Todd’s Columbus Office

Stephen E. Chappelear has joined Frost Brown Todd’s Business Litigation practice group in the Columbus office. Chappelear has 36 years of experience in more than 60 trials. His practice focuses in the areas of business and complex litigation, construction law, employment, and intellectual property litigation. At Chappelear’s previous firm, he served as managing partner for the Columbus office from 2004-2010.

Cravath – IBM’s Acquisition of SoftLayer

On June 4, 2013, IBM announced a definitive agreement to acquire SoftLayer Technologies, Inc., the world’s largest privately held cloud computing infrastructure provider. Financial terms were not disclosed. Cravath represented IBM in connection with this transaction, which is expected to close in the third quarter of 2013 following satisfaction of customary closing conditions including regulatory clearances.
