Reed Smith LLP today announced the addition of Steven D. Hamilton as a partner on the Managed Care team in the firm’s Global Commercial Disputes Group. Based in Chicago, Hamilton is an accomplished trial lawyer who principally represents healthcare clients, including health insurers and other healthcare entities, in all aspects of litigation, including provider disputes, class actions, and False Claims Act matters. He also provides regulatory and compliance advice to Medicare Advantage, Medicaid managed care, and other government-sponsored health plans. He was a partner at McGuireWoods LLP in Chicago for more than a dozen years and before that was an associate at Drinker Biddle & Reath.
