Eversheds Sutherland Expands Corporate Practice in Chicago with M&A Partner Ted Cominos

Eversheds Sutherland is pleased to announce that Theodore H. Cominos Jr. has joined the firm’s M&A and Private Capital teams in the Chicago office as partner. Mr. Cominos is the sixth partner to join the firm in Chicago and the third M&A partner added there since the office opened in May 2019. Additionally, Cristina Audran-Proca has joined Eversheds Sutherland in the Paris office as counsel. Mr. Cominos, who joins from Faegre Drinker, advises domestic and international clients on complex M&A, private equity, venture capital, corporate commercial, commercial real estate and debt-finance transactions.

Former DOJ Healthcare And White Collar Fraud Prosecutor Rejoins Barnes & Thornburg In Chicago

Anthony “Tony” Burba has rejoined Barnes & Thornburg’s Litigation Department as a partner in its Chicago office to focus on white collar and government investigations. He joins from the Fraud Section of the Criminal Division of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), where he served as a trial attorney on the corporate and Appalachian Regional Prescription Opioid strike forces in Nashville.

Holland & Knight announced today that a group of 10 attorneys who focus on financial services litigation have joined the firm. White & Case Adds Leading Restructuring Team to Its New York and Chicago Offices

Global law firm White & Case LLP has added three new partners to its rapidly growing Global Financial Restructuring and Insolvency (FRI) Practice in the US. Jessica Boelter and Bojan Guzina join the Firm’s FRI Practice in New York and Chicago, respectively, and Michael Andolina joins the Firm’s Global Commercial Litigation Practice in Chicago. The move is a key component of the Firm’s initiative to expand its company and sponsor-side work in the restructuring arena. All three new partners come from Sidley Austin, where they had spent their entire careers.
