Newfield Exploration Company, an independent energy company, has announced the signing of a share purchase agreement to sell all of its equity interests in Newfield Malaysia Holdings to SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad for a total cash consideration of $898 million. The transaction is expected to close in early 2014.

Davis Polk advised Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Barclays Capital Inc., Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, BNP Paribas Securities Corp. and RBS Securities Inc. as joint book-running managers and representatives of the underwriters on an SEC-registered public debt offering by Bristol-Myers Squibb Company of $500 million principal amount of its 1.750% notes due 2019, $500 million principal amount of its 3.250% notes due 2023 and $500 million principal amount of its 4.500% notes due 2044.

Hydoo International offered an aggregate of 768,256,000 shares, which raised approximately HK$1.65 Billion (US$212 Million) in gross proceeds for Hydoo International. Hydoo International is a leading developer and operator of large-scale trade centers comprising commercial complex, exhibition and conference centers, office space, warehouse, logistics facilities and residential building in China, with a focus in third- and fourth-tier, and selected second-tier, cities. It is the second largest developer and operator of large-scale trade centers in terms of number of large-scale trade centers in China. The shares of Hydoo International are listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. UBS and Morgan Stanley acted as joint global coordinators, joint bookrunners, joint lead managers and joint sponsors; and ABCI, CIMB, CMS, ICBCI and BOCOM International acted as joint bookrunners and joint lead managers.
