Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Brian Craig to its Washington, D.C. office as a partner in the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice.

Craig has practiced law in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and England, counseling numerous clients on data and cybersecurity matters including measures to be taken to build resilience, breach response and regulatory compliance. As part of his practice, he has handled General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance projects and has advised on the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Craig’s clients have included domestic and foreign technology companies and financial institutions with a particular emphasis on the aerospace and defense industry. Prior to joining TLT, he served as general counsel for subsidiaries of Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, and United Technologies. He has advised fin-tech startups as well as major clearing banks on privacy and cybersecurity matters and is a frequent speaker and author in the field.

Although cybersecurity matters comprise the majority of Craig’s work, he also represents companies in technology transaction matters. “Sean Hoar and others on his team have a tremendous network and reputation which I am proud and honored to join,” Craig said.
