Sedgwick is pleased to announce that David C. Mancini has joined the firm as a partner in its Washington, D.C., office. Prior to Sedgwick, Mancini served as a partner at Seyfarth Shaw. Mancini concentrates his litigation practice in the areas of construction, engineering, government contracts and aerospace. In addition to his experience as a litigator, Mancini helps his clients resolve disputes through domestic and international arbitration and mediation.

As a litigator, Mancini works with clients to understand, assess and resolve challenges and disputes relating to construction projects. His experience encompasses a broad range of market sectors including power generation, industrial and process facilities, government infrastructure projects, and a wide variety of large commercial developments. Geographically, he has assisted clients throughout the United States, as well as in international jurisdictions including Australia, Malaysia, China, Japan, South and Central America, Turkey, Afghanistan, India, U.A.E., Saudi Arabia, Russia, and Kazakhstan, among others.
Mancini has been recognized for his work by numerous industry organizations and media, including a national “Award for Excellence” in Construction by Chambers USA. He has also been honored by The Legal 500, Best Lawyers in America, Law360 and Super Lawyers, among others.
Mancini earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his bachelor’s degree cum laude from the University of Maryland.
