Corporate and Energy Lawyer Hans P. Dyke Joins Arnold & Porter

Arnold & Porter LLP announced today that Hans P. Dyke has joined the firm as a partner in its Corporate & Securities Group, resident in the Washington, DC office. Hans brings substantial experience handling transactional, regulatory, commercial, and development matters for clients in the energy sector. In particular, he advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, equity investments, and financings throughout the electric power and oil and gas industries.

Among his most recent work, Mr. Dyke has advised a group of founding investors in the initial public offering of a first-of-its-kind REIT formed to hold electric transmission and distribution assets; represented a global energy concern in various investments in renewable and fossil fuel power projects throughout the U.S.; and helped a British multinational electricity and gas utility in the sale of its shale gas business. His clients have included some of the world’s largest energy and power companies.

Mr. Dyke obtained his JD from Washington & Lee University School of Law, and his MA in International Relations from Marquette University.
