Alston & Bird Expands Corporate Practice with New Partner in Washington, D.C.

Alston & Bird has expanded its Corporate Transactions & Securities Practice with the addition of Alex Park as partner in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.

Arriving from Womble Bond Dickinson LLP, Park is a seasoned corporate and securities transactional attorney with a finance and accounting background. His career also includes co-founding a technology-based startup and serving as its general counsel and chief operating officer.

In a career spanning more than 20 years, Park has advised public and private companies and virtually all Wall Street investment banks on corporate, securities, M&A, capital market, spin-off, reorganization, and partnership transactions, with a focus on REITs, hospitality/lodging/timeshare companies, commercial real estate companies, government contracting, and IT companies.

Park also advises clients on securities law and governance matters, including financial restatements, internal investigations, and complex committees.
