Squire Patton Boggs Expands Real Estate Team in Australia

Squire Patton Boggs is pleased to announce the appointment of Real Estate partner Rahul Parrab, who joins the firm in Sydney from Baker & McKenzie.

Mr. Parrab, who is a hospitality and real estate transactions expert, provides comprehensive legal advice on all matters relating to real estate, hotels and resorts projects, including property law and due diligence, acquisitions and sales, developments, structuring (MIT and foreign investment), foreign investment approvals and liquor licensing. Mr. Parrab, who was previously based in Vietnam, has extensive experience of working on cross border and multi-jurisdictional matters for clients and is widely regarded as one of the region’s leading experts in hospitality and real estate law.

Mr. Parrab has a deep knowledge of risk analysis, negotiations, project management and transaction delivery. He has recently advised on a number of high profile matters, including the sales and acquisitions of hotels, resorts and tourism assets in Australia and the Asia Pacific region, the establishment of on-shore and off-shore development joint ventures, MIT and REIT structures, and complex FIRB approvals. Mr Parrab is also recognised across the industry for his ability to project manage large scale projects and his expertise in assisting with hotel management tender processes.
