Patrick Hammon, who has successfully litigated high-profile intellectual property, white collar defense, antitrust and other complex commercial disputes, has joined Pillsbury’s Silicon Valley office as partner. Hammon spent a dozen years at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and the last few years at McManis Faulkner before coming to Pillsbury.

Melinda has a distinguished record of jury and bench trial wins, as well as dispositive summary judgment motions and successful arbitration awards. She acts for many Orrick clients, including Pinterest, Juniper Networks, Hitachi and Maxar, among others. Melinda unites at Orrick with her daughters, Julia Riechert, a partner in our employment practice, and Talent Counsel Allison Riechert Giese. She joins from Morgan Lewis.
