Seyfarth’s Seattle Office Welcomes Trio of Partners in Corporate and Litigation Practices

Seyfarth announced today the addition of three partners to the firm’s Seattle office. Michael Herbst and Russel Robertson join the firm’s Corporate department, and Ryan Dumm joins the Litigation department—all from Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt.

“Michael and Russ’s transactional practice connects well to the existing strengths of Seyfarth’s corporate and real estate client service offerings,” said Corporate Department Chair Steven Meier. “They offer significant capabilities to an already impressive bench of corporate attorneys operating on our global platform.”

“Ryan is an experienced construction litigator, which meshes exceptionally well with our growing construction litigation presence in the Pacific Northwest,” said Litigation Department Chair James McGrath. “His practice also fits in very well with our construction group’s national footprint and we see many opportunities to grow client relationships across our platform.”

Seattle Managing Partners Denice Tokunaga and Tom Wybenga issued a joint statement: “The addition of Russ, Michael, and Ryan helps strengthen two growing practice areas in the Pacific Northwest, and aligns closely with our strategic goals in the region.”

The partners join a Seattle office that has added more than 30 attorneys since its opening in 2020, representing a cross-section of the firm’s nationally ranked departments, including Labor & Employment, Construction, Real Estate, Employee Benefits, Corporate, and Litigation.
