The third new partner to join K&L Gates’ Seattle office this year, Yang arrives from Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker LLP, after previously having practiced more than a decade in Washington, D.C.
Seattle – Global law firm K&L Gates LLP welcomes Christopher Bellavia as a corporate partner in the Seattle office. Bellavia recently served as general counsel and corporate secretary for consumer goods and lifestyle brand company Bulletproof 360, Inc., following general counsel and assistant general counsel roles with Fisher Communications, Inc., and Washington Mutual, Inc., respectively.
At Bulletproof 360, Bellavia established and managed the company’s internal legal function, supporting key areas such as corporate finance, regulatory compliance, commercial contracts, domestic and international trademark portfolio management, real estate leases, M&A transactions, and ongoing litigation matters. During his time with Bulletproof, he helped the company raise approximately USD $60 million in two priced venture capital and debt financing rounds.
The second notable litigation partner to join Davis Wright Tremaine this month, former Assistant U.S. Attorney Matthew D. Diggs joins the firm’s White Collar, Investigations & Government Controversies practice. Diggs, who will be a partner in Seattle, has more than a dozen years of federal criminal and civil regulatory experience, with a particular focus on healthcare, in addition to having previously worked in private practice.
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani welcomes Nicole Lentini as a partner in the firm’s Seattle office. Lentini joins the firm’s Construction and Commercial Litigation practice groups. Lentini was previously with Semmes, Bowen & Semmes.
