Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli welcomes real estate attorney Weston B. Rockers as principal in the firm’s San Francisco office. Rockers joins the firm’s national Real Estate Practice, having a deep background in commercial real estate. Rockers comes to the firm from Morrison & Foerster, LLP in Palo Alto.
Rockers focuses his real estate practice on acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, project and development finance and commercial leasing. He brings over a decade of real estate legal experience to Polsinelli, having significant experience representing institutional debt and equity funds, developers and lenders across multiple real estate product types throughout the United States.

Rockers works with REITs, developers, real estate and private equity funds, lenders, landlords and tenants. He joins a deep bench of attorneys who provide the practical solutions clients value, as well as vast experience in areas including transactions, financing structures and land use entitlements. Polsinelli’s real estate team has deep experience from acquisition and financing through development and leasing.

He is a former recipient of the Sacramento Business Journal’s “Best of the Bar” list, and a 2016-2017 “Top Lawyer” by Sacramento Magazine. He is also the recipient of the 2016 Morningstar Award from the Real Property Law section of the State Bar of California, a yearly award recognizing outstanding up-and-coming real estate attorneys in the State of California.
Rockers earned a Bachelor of Science from The University of Kansas before obtaining an M.B.A. and J.D. from the Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University and Pepperdine University School of Law, respectively.
Polsinelli’s growing Real Estate Practice has added six new construction-focused shareholders and counsel this year. Rockers is the first new San Francisco-based attorney for 2021.
