Leading Tech Litigator Elizabeth McCloskey Rejoins Gibson Dunn as Partner in San Francisco Office

Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP announced today that Elizabeth McCloskey has rejoined the firm’s San Francisco office as a partner. McCloskey, formerly a partner at Keker, Van Nest & Peters LLP in San Francisco, will continue her complex litigation practice, with a focus on tech and investigations.

About Elizabeth McCloskey

McCloskey’s practice focuses on high-stakes, complex litigation across a broad range of subject matters, including founder disputes, trade secret challenges, copyright, antitrust and breach of contract actions, white-collar criminal defense cases and investigations.

McCloskey received her J.D. from the University of California Berkeley School of Law, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif and served on the California Law Review and Berkeley Journal of Criminal Law. She clerked for Judge Valerie B. Fairbank of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and Judge John T. Noonan Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Prior to attending law school, McCloskey worked as a journalist. McCloskey also serves on the Board of Directors of the Northern District of California Historical Society and is a member of the San Francisco Chapter of the Women’s White Collar Defense Association.
