Gibson Dunn Adds Private Equity Partners Abtin Jalali and Chris Harding in San Francisco

Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is pleased to announce that Abtin Jalali and Chris Harding have joined the firm’s San Francisco office. Formerly partners with Kirkland & Ellis LLP, they will continue their private equity practices at Gibson Dunn.

Jalali represents private equity firms and their portfolio companies in all aspects of their businesses, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, growth equity investments, minority investments and general corporate matters.

He joins the firm from Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. He received his M.B.A. and his B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.

About Chris Harding

Harding’s practice focuses on private equity, M&A and leveraged acquisitions. He has significant experience representing private equity sponsors in acquisitions and sales, strategic investments and recapitalizations.

He joins the firm from Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles.
