Baker McKenzie Adds Leading IP Transactional Lawyer Marcela Robledo

Global law firm Baker McKenzie has added leading IP transactional lawyer Marcela Robledo as a Partner in its Northern California offices, as the Firm continues to expand its high-end transactional capabilities in the Bay Area. She joins the Firm from Simpson Thatcher & Bartlett LLP, where she led the IP aspects of some of their largest technology M&A transactions.

Based in San Francisco, Marcela joins Baker McKenzie’s renowned Intellectual Property & Technology practice. Marcela brings extensive experience managing the intellectual property and technology aspects of a wide range of corporate and transactional matters, including M&A transactions, financings, debt arrangements, licensing and joint ventures.

Marcela joins Baker McKenzie’s growing M&A team in Northern California. The total number of M&A lawyers in Baker McKenzie’s Northern California offices is now 24, making it one of the largest M&A practices in the Bay Area.

She began her career as a lawyer in Colombia.
