Commercial and Insurance Litigation Partner Joins Norton Rose Fulbright in San Antonio

Norton Rose Fulbright today announced that Neel Lane, a nationally recognized commercial litigation lawyer with a global client base, has joined the law firm’s San Antonio office as a partner.

Also joining Norton Rose Fulbright are Manuel Mungia Jr. and Matthew Pepping, who join the global law firm as senior associates. Lane, Mungia and Pepping arrive from Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where they worked closely together on complex civil litigation matters with an emphasis on insurance-related disputes.

Lane focuses his practice on complex business disputes, including high-stakes insurance litigation, class actions and reinsurance arbitration proceedings. His clients also include life insurers, their affiliated broker-dealers, as well as property and casualty insurers.

Lane has served as lead counsel in more than 30 jury trials, bench trials and arbitrations. In addition, he has significant experience arguing before state and federal appellate courts.

Lane received his JD from The University of Texas School of Law and his BA from Columbia University. Mungia earned his JD from the University of Texas School of Law and his BA from the University of Texas at Austin. Pepping received his JD from Notre Dame Law School and his BA from Trinity University.
